  • MTEK 6 (R30006) Cobalt Based Alloy

Description

  • Cobalt-based alloy for severe applications

Properties – Why select this material

  • High abrasion and elevated temperature wear resistance
  • Galling resistance
  • Resistance to oxidation and corrosion resistance

Applications – Frequent uses

  • Bearings, cylinder liners, weld overlay

  • MTEK 21 (R30021) Cobalt Based Alloy

Description

  • Cobalt-based alloy for severe applications

Properties – Why select this material

  • High temperature strength and stability
  • Excellent galling, corrosion and erosion resistance
  • Good resistance to oxidizing media, mineral and body acids, flue gases

Applications – Frequent uses

  • Pumps, steam valves and erosion shields
  • Combustion chambers, exhaust systems

  • Cobalt-based alloy for severe applications

  • Withstands heavy loads at temperatures up to 1800°F (980°C)
